Analytical study of Safdar Zaidi’s Novel “Bint-i-Dahir”
Abstract
Bint-i-Dahir is latest and famous novel of Safdar Zaidi. Safdar
Zaidi is a contemporary novel writer settled in Holand. Bint-i-Dahir is his
3rd novel that is a historical novel. The Locale of this novel is ancient
Sindh. In this Novel writer present the history of Sindh with a different
perspective. In this novel he depicted the occupation of Sindh by
Muslisms (Arabs) was an imperial act. He denies the verifiable occurrence
as per which Hajjaj container Yusuf assault in Sindh on the voice of a
Bedouin lady who was caught by Sindhi privateers. As per the writer, the
