Publication Ethics
The National Journal of Biological Sciences (NJBS) upholds a stringent standard of publication ethics, aligning closely with the guidelines set forth by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We are committed to adhering to COPE's code of conduct and HEC's best practices guidelines, ensuring that our editorial process remains free from any unethical practices by editors, reviewers, or authors.
In the event that any ethical concerns are raised by authors or readers, our editorial board will meticulously investigate the matter in accordance with the protocols outlined by HEC and COPE. Should disputes arise regarding authorship, data ownership, or author misconduct, we may seek the guidance of university ethics committees if necessary. Throughout this process, authors will be afforded a fair opportunity to address and respond to any allegations brought against them, maintaining transparency and integrity in our publication practices.
