Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  • We prefer electronic submission via Open Journal System (OJS)

  • Manuscripts should not exceed 4000-5000 words (not including endnotes and references) with an informative abstract (150 -200 words) with 3-5 key words.
  • Article should be composed in MS Word, Times New Roman, and Font Size 12. 
  • Manuscript should be double spaced and fully justified.
  • Margins should be 2 inches from all sides except bottom i.e 1.25inch.
  • Figures, tables, graphs (if any) should not be out of the margins of the text of the paper. 
  • Non-English words should be italicized.
  • It is also important that you carefully proofread your paper, and that it is accompanied by a Turnitin similarity index report in soft form. 
  • The Pakistan Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Research follow a variant of APA styles to accommodate the multi-disciplinarian work that the journal features
  • Author must submit Ethical statement on the format given on the website.
  • Correspondence between editorial office and author(s) will be done through email. Please give email address that corresponding author intends to keep for couple of years after publication.
