Self-Archiving
The Journal of Pakistan Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Research (PJHSSR) acknowledges the importance of self-archiving in promoting the accessibility and visibility of scholarly research. PJHSSR permits authors to self-archive their preprints, postprints, or accepted manuscripts in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal websites.
Authors are encouraged to adhere to the following guidelines when self-archiving their work:
Version Consideration: Authors may self-archive the preprint (i.e., the version of the manuscript prior to peer review), post print (i.e., the version of the manuscript after peer review, with revisions but prior to publisher formatting), or the accepted manuscript (i.e., the final version accepted for publication, including any revisions).
Embargo Period: PJHSSR imposes no embargo period on self-archiving. Authors are free to deposit their manuscripts in repositories immediately upon acceptance for publication.
Attribution: Authors should provide proper attribution to PJHSSR as the original source of the manuscript when self-archiving. This includes citing the journal name, volume, issue, page numbers, and DOI (Digital Object Identifier) if available.
Non-Commercial Use: Self-archived manuscripts should be made available for non-commercial purposes only. Authors should specify any usage restrictions or licensing terms associated with their self-archived manuscripts.
Linking: Authors are encouraged to include a link to the published version of the article on the PJHSSR website alongside the self-archived manuscript to facilitate access to the final published version.
PJHSSR respects the rights of authors to self-archive their work and supports initiatives that promote the dissemination of scholarly research. By allowing self-archiving, PJHSSR aims to enhance the visibility, impact, and reach of the research published in the journal, thereby contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the humanities and social sciences.
