Withdrawal Policy
The withdrawal policy of the Pakistan Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Research (PJHSSR) acknowledges the importance of maintaining integrity and transparency in the scholarly publication process. Authors who wish to withdraw their submitted manuscripts must adhere to the following guidelines. Upon submission, manuscripts undergo a thorough review process, consuming valuable time and resources. Therefore, withdrawals are accepted only under exceptional circumstances, such as serious ethical concerns or unavoidable conflicts that compromise the validity or legitimacy of the research. Authors must formally request withdrawal in writing, providing detailed reasons for their decision. If the manuscript is already under review, the withdrawal request will be evaluated by the editorial board to assess its validity and potential impact on the review process. If withdrawal is approved, the manuscript will be officially withdrawn from consideration, and all associated records will be updated accordingly. However, once a manuscript has been accepted and published, withdrawal requests will not be entertained, as the article becomes part of the scholarly record. PJHSSR is committed to upholding ethical standards and ensuring the integrity of published research, and thus withdrawal requests are handled with careful consideration and transparency.
